I originally wrote this on my laptop the week after I read Deathly Hallows. Unfortunately, my laptop died - so I only recently got around to rewriting it.

One Twin

The daring
Wonderful Weasley twins,
Dwindled down to one –
Only death could part them,
Leaving five of the six sons.

A sturdy wall
Came crashing down,
So heavy in its toll –
Taking one we dearly loved,
May forever rest his soul.

Looking back
At times he lived,
He brought us such great joy –
He'll never be forgotten
After all that he destroyed.

He truly was
Loved by his peers,
His jokes were so light-hearted –
He always taught us how to dream,
And we'd hoped never to be parted.

Though that's not what,
Fate had in store,
We miss him still –
And love him more.

He can't come back,
His time has passed –
We lay him now
To rest at last.

After few short years,
A tragic war –
So many hopes...

Dreams

Lay shattered on that floor.

Although his end was tragic,
We can truly honour him still –
What would this so admired man
Have wanted written in his will?

He wanted us to be happy,
And for him that's what we'll be –
Every time we smile or laugh,
Think 'Fred Weasley –
Rest in Peace.'

Memory Tonight by HellFromPeeves
Author's Notes:
So, I got enough positive feedback on the first poem, that I decided to write a second one for the ten year anniversary of the battle at Hogwarts. It took a bit longer than expected, but here it is. Enjoy! :) (Written from George's POV)
In Memory Tonight

Young, Carefree, and Innocent,
Is what we used to be,
And now I am still longing,
To have you here with me.

So long ago you disappeared,
Meant never to return,
If I had known ahead of time,
I'd have shown some more concern.

I would have made you stay behind,
To keep you safe and sound,
Away from that collapsing wall,
That came tumbling to the ground.

I'll remember it forever,
That dark and fateful day,
When the followers of Voldemort,
Took you far away.

Tonight I sit here thinking,
So very on my own,
Wondering if it's possible,
For me to face unknowns.

How can I live without you?
I don't know what to say,
But I guarantee you that I'll try,
To take life day-by-day.

I know it still won't be the same,
Or like before the war,
But I promise you that I'll uphold,
All that we stood for.

I'll keep the shop up and running,
Keep lives so fun and bright,
Do all that's in my power,
To make the world all right.

I know that it's impossible,
But I'll surely do my best,
To help the people through their days,
So that they might get some rest.

That's what I'll do devoid of you,
In your loving memory,
It's what you would have wanted,
For me to be happy.

I'll never, ever forget you,
And all you mean to me,
My final wish for you would be,
That you may rest in peace.

--I love you Fred.

End Notes:
A/N: George: 'Well… when we were in our first year, Harry - young, carefree, and innocent-'
Harry snorted. He doubted whether Fred and George had ever been innocent."

Ah, one of my favourite quotes. How wrong Harry is. Childlike innocence is hard to come by, but I think it's the foundation of the Weasley twins personae.
