Author's Notes:

With great thanks to Nunaco, who is amazing and bouncy.

A manic laugh pierces the night;
Her last attempt to halt our flight.

A silver flash cuts empty space,
Yet comes to rest in a fatal place.

Arriving near the break of dawn,
Too late for my savior; he's nearly gone.

Those yellow eyes meet my own green.
And as they gain a misty sheen,
His final words slip from his lips
"...Harry....Potter....".
And I still live,

Whilst Dobby died.
