Cold.

Hard.

Empty.

I stare into his eyes;
I see only lies.
My friend is not there,
And no one seems to care.

The horrible words he said,
Made him seem nearly dead.
What happened to him?
His future has become so dim.

He is now lost to me.
He refused to see.
I loved him long ago,
But lost him to the row.

I stare into his eyes.
I see only lies.
My friend is not there.
No one seems to care.
