A Sonnet by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor
The plan before him all became so clear,
And Harry knew what he would have to do;
He started out but did not shed a tear,
The terror in his heart, it only grew.

The simple golden ball sat in his hand,
What lay within it he would now set free;
And in his palm the small black ring did land,
Beyond the veil emerged his family.

With mum and dad and godfather and friend,
He strode into the clearing, head held high;
They stayed with him until the very end,
For he knew he was going there to die.

As Harry stood with calm serenity,
A flash of green fulfilled his destiny.
