Eternity

Inspiration struck while listening to Robbie's Greatest Hits. It's different, and a one-shot I think.

Ginny looked down into the common room. He was there again, head in hands, at the edge of the sofa. Why wouldn't he just go see Professor Dumbledore? She sat on the sofa behind him and massaged his shoulders.

'Ginny? What are you doing down here?'

'I couldn't sleep. You've had another nightmare?'

'Another?'

'Everyone is worried, Harry.'

'Fancy a walk?'

Ginny paused. How long had she wanted to hear him say those words. 'I love you too.'

Harry smiled and kissed her. Ginny saw the worry in his eyes, the man who had dealt with so much in the last 16 years.

'No one should have that burden on them,' she thought. 'No one.'

'Of course love, I'll love you for eternity.'
