Master of Midnight by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor
Summary:

To most lycanthropes, it is a curse. To one, he relishes it and the power it gives him. Who is this one?

See Fenrir Greyback and his transformation from man to beast.

Chapter 1 by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor

Author's Note: A tritina is a rigidly structured poem which specifically arranges the last words of each line in three stanzas of three lines apiece, followed by a single line. Each stanza has the same three words ending the lines, only in a different order. The last line contains all three of those words in a single line. Confused? I heart Google, baby. :D

Bending, twisting, seething—the night takes over me.
I bathe in the wanton glow of the moon,
A glorious transformation of flesh and bones.

Tearing, contorting, detaching—lunar ecstasy soaks into my bones.
I revel in the power that it gives me,
A supernatural dominion of the moon.

Prowling, chasing, lusting—the hunger comes with the moon.
I stalk my prey, feeling their fear in my bones,
A tribute to the midnight lord, to me.

Bow to me, the sentinel of the moon, the master of sinew and bones.

End Notes:
Reviews are love. Feel free to throw any praise or rotten veg my way. I adore all of them equally. Thanks for reading.
