Draco Malfoy's Years at Hogwarts by TheSilverEagle
Summary: This is a poem I wrote about Draco's years at Hogwarts. The poem starts off more light-hearted, as do the books, and as the plot thickens and the books get more serious, I tried to make the poem mirror that as well. Reviews are encouraged!

Draco Malfoy Poem by TheSilverEagle
A day for Draco Malfoy
Is not all that it would seem
It takes a lot of effort
Looking good and being mean

He’s got it pretty tough
For a wizard in his teens
Sitting with the Slytherins
Wearing ugly shades of green

Yes, Draco has it very hard
His father is so nasty
Most of his friends don’t know this
But he’s not allowed the pumpkin pasties

If it weren’t for Harry Potter
Draco thinks he’d have it all
Maybe he’d be the one receiving broomsticks
At breakfast in the Great Hall

And that blasted Granger girl
Beats him on every test
She’s making Draco realize
Money doesn’t always buy the best

All the Daily Prophet tells is lies
But Draco knows the truth
His father has seen it with his own eyes
The Dark Lord is alive again

Draco belongs at Hogwarts
His parents to a cult
Silly Dumbledore
Is making everything difficult

And there he is
On the astronomy tower
He’ll show them all
That he has the power

Please, Bellatrix, please stop talking
We’re trying to keep the school waking
It’s all I can do to keep from walking
Can’t you see my hands are shaking?

Avada Kedavra!” The deed is done
I have a feeling
This war we’ve started
Has only just begun
