Cold Dreams by Equinox Chick
Summary: Not all marriages are idyllic - not even for a hero. And however much we want someone to have a happy ending, love sometimes has a way of upsetting the equilibrium.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. To my knowledge all her heroes had the happy-ever-afters they deserved.

1. Cold Dreams by Equinox Chick

Cold Dreams by Equinox Chick
The marriage bed on which they lie,
Is long a place where love grew cold,
For pervasive thoughts left shattered dreams.

Memories of her rip through his dreams.
Obsessing his mind, he cannot lie,
Then words erupt, both harsh and cold.

A mask assumed, Hannah’s heart ice-cold,
She turns her back on their shared dreams.
Their life together now a lie.

Each day they lie, too cold for dreams.
