Author's Notes:
"Win today and we walk together forever." -Fred Shero

The war is fought, the battle won,
Vanquished with the rising sun.
And as our hero lay to rest,
There still remains one final test.

“What now?” we ask each other now.
We have to forge ahead somehow.
The battle we’ve all known so well
Is over now, gone straight to hell.

The fight still lingers in our hearts,
So we must now all do our parts
To build, to mould, a whole new realm
With just new leaders at the helm.

So, though the smoke had cleared away,
Nobody shall forget this day,
When Potter stood, heart beating still.
Remember him? We always will.

End Notes:
I hope you enjoyed this poem and felt the nostalgia that went into it. As long as we remember Harry Potter, we won't forget that specky, muss-haired boy who changed our lives.
