1. Draught of Living Death by Skarlett
Draught of Living Death by Skarlett
A deadly silence creeping throughout the blackness
Awaiting the moment to suffocate its victim
Creeping towards the edge of vision
Willing its prey to accept defeat
The lingering presence of life far in the distance
So close, yet not within reach
Desperately clinging to existence
Slowly fading into the shadows
A far off light beyond recognition
Wishing to awaken from the depths of hopelessness
Spidery threads of black tightening their grip
Never relinquishing their hold
When the realization comes
That the light cannot be grasped
A desperate wish to give in
But the darkness refuses acceptance
So be left to linger in an everlasting sleep
In which death is nonexistent, and life cannot be reached
