Deadliest of the Dragons by PeppermintToads

A wicked barbed tail
And scales as dark as midnight
The Hungarian Horntail.
Deadliest of the dragons.

Black wings unfurling,
Fire spurting and jaws snapping,
protecting its nest.
The mighty dragon rears up,
trying to fend Harry off.

A trick with a broom
As Harry flies fast
Dodging the dragon's attacks.
He can't do this forever!

The dragon is fierce,
But Harry is determined
To obtain the dragonâ€™s egg.

A break in the defenses,
He seizes his chance
And then flies away
Holding the egg in his hands.

Harry has done well.
He is safe for now.
But there are still two more tasks.
