Come lie with me, and never weep,
Caress my soul with songs anew,
Breathe soft your words in layers deep,
Ingrain my mind with Lovesâ€™ deep hue.

Untie your hair, and let it fall,
Burnished copper to shoulders bare,
Come close to me, Iâ€™m in your thrall,
Give night its wings on scented air.

Forget the spells, and loverâ€™s charms,
Dream only of my avowâ€™ed truth.
As you rest circled in my arms,
Believe in this, my own loveâ€™s proof.

I promise the years will never shun,
The light you hold, the love I keep,
And when our final dance is done,
Come lie with me, forever sleep.
