Disclaimer: If I were Helena, I would never ever have stolen the diadem, nor would I have decided to come back as a ghost. As it is, I am not Helena, and I am not even remotely part of the Harry Potter world. I just enjoy watching it flit by in my imagination.

Refusal

Refusal is the art of rejection, the art of thievery as I rebel against my mother
Refusal is the art of concealing, the art of flight as my heart runs away, her feelings I do smother

Refusal is the art of cold-blood, the art of pride as my eyes seek out coveted treasure
Refusal is the art of treachery, the art of spurning as my nimble fingers steal without measure

Refusal is the art of falling rain, the art of a cloudless sky as relentless in their pursuits as I
Refusal is the art of a thick forest, the art of a hollow tree as the diadem is hidden in sly

Refusal is the art of sarcasm, the art of sneering as my voice does not wish to leave
Refusal is the art of disdain, the art of stupidity as rage fills his veins; now he must grieve

Refusal is the art of blades flashing, the art of stabbing as it cleanly niches into my white bosom
Refusal is the art of remorse, the art of penitence as the same blade impales the man gruesome

Refusal is the art of stumbling, the art of dying as my body convulses, slowly gives up the ghost
Refusal is the art of shame, the art of guilt as my pearly apparition chooses a different coast

Refusal is the art of wasting away, the art of silence as I remain quiet at Hogwarts about my deed

Refusal is the art... of being me
