The Black Swan Theory says that momentous events are primarily unforeseeable events that cannot be predicted, ones that deviate from the norm.

The childâ€™s plight, a sullen verse of happenstance,
Fortunate events straining to be heard over the din of such strife.
Foreseen, stalked, closeted,
His subtle crescendo undaunted beneath the noise of passing years.

The childâ€™s light, a flickering lantern against manic shadows,
ChargÃ©d sparks clashing with decades of droughted kindling.
Crackling, seething, raging,
A shuddering beacon leading the war against the darkness.

The childâ€™s fight, a glittering coin in the darkest days,
Unearthed treasure turned to dust by the centuries.
Tainted, shattered, compromised,
Until only the hull of the trunk remembers it was there.
