This is my first poem, so any critique would be welcome.

Lost

Something is missing.
Something's forgotten.
I cannot remember.
It was important,
I know that for sure.
But what it was,
I cannot recall.

A part of my life is missing.
Where it went,
I do not know.
What it is,
I am not sure.
They say what you lose comes back some day.
I will wait for it.

I want to know,
What it is,
And where it went.
I will keep watching,
I will keep waiting.
It will come back,
I know it will.
