1. Remembrance Day by Bellatrix de Strange

Remembrance Day by Bellatrix de Strange
One year ago feels like a long time,
Yet for many, wounds will never heal.
One year ago, too many gave their lives,
Fighting for what they believed.

One year ago, Hogwarts was ruined-
Our famed school maimed by evil forces.
But together, we have worked and together succeeded
In bringing Hogwarts up from the ashes.

One year ago, society was in tatters,
Hope was scarce, the world dismal.
We stuck at it, and now have hope
That there's light at the end of the tunnel.

One year ago, good fought against evil,
And finally good came out top.
One year ago, young and old combined
United to finish the job.

One year ago, young hearts were broken,
Families ripped cruelly apart.
A thousand years on, let us remember,
Let them still be in our hearts.
