Through the Mines by Nagini Riddle
Through the Mines

With my prowess, I astound
These underlings fall’n before me--
This is the devil’s playground.

Here upon my throne, I’m crowned;
Mere children bow so rev’rently--
With my prowess, I astound.

Even here, my name’s renowned,
Inspiring fear in the hearts of many--
This is the devil’s playground.

And to my law, they are bound
(Given the chance, they could never break free)--
With my prowess, I astound.

And hence, by chance, I have found
Of the grave and of immortality--
This is the devil’s playground.

The past is gone--buried, drowned--
And yet I rise consequently.
With my prowess, I astound--
This is the devil’s fiery playground.
End Notes:
As always, I welcome any and all thoughts. :)
