Chapter1: Alternate School Song
There was an ancient school,
Which had founders four,
They strived to work and do their best,
Such harmony you saw.
There was Godric Gryffindor,
He was loyal and true,
A braver man you couldn't find,
If you searched the country through.
Slytherin was Godric's friend,
He could talk to snakes,
He wanted only cunning pure-bloods,
Who put everything at stake.
Ravenclaw - the clever one,
Possessed of a great mind.
Her house is bright, they know it all,
They won't fall behind.
And Hufflepuff, the lovely maid,
It's said she took the rest,
Her house is full of different things,
At kindness, she is best.
When the founders all grew old,
They came up with a plan,
They made a Sorting Hat so clever,
It could Sort as good as man.
The Hat is placed upon your head,
To Sort you once and all for good,
It sits there for a moment,
Deciding to place you where it should.
Your house is like your family,
While at Hogwarts you reside,
Make lots of friends and you'll go far,
And by the rules abide.
Hogwarts at the moment,
Is under the fine rule,
Of Professor Albus Dumbledore,
The Muggle-loving fool.
He's the best Headmaster,
That Hogwart's seen in years,
He gives everyone a second chance,
And is looked up to by his peers.
Transfiguration, Potions,
Divination, Charms,
Care of Magical Creatures,
(Quick cover up your arms.)
Astrology, Herbology,
Defence against the Dark Arts.
History of Magic,
Arithmancy and 'Runes class.
These are just some subjects,
Taught at Hogwarts school.
You'll find magic of every kind,
Inside the castle walls.
Everyone loves Hogwarts,
It is the best magic school,
Everyone says in unison,
"Hogwarts is really cool."
