I’ve never been to heaven,
It’s not something I want to do,
I’m sure its great and everything,
But I’d rather stay here with you.

I’ve never been on top a mountain,
And breathed that fresh, thin air,
I’m sure it’d be great and everything,
But I’d rather play with your hair.

I’ve never flown to such a height,
That I looked down on the skies,
I’m sure it’d be fun and everything,
But I’d rather get lost in your eyes.

With so many places and sights,
None will fulfill my desire.
All I want are those cold, frozen nights,
When we sat by the blazing fire.

I’ve never been on a sailing trip,
And drifted away from the dock,
I’m sure it’d be great and everything,
But I’d rather just hear you talk.

I’ve never been to a muggle zoo,
And petted a tall, lanky giraffe,
I’m sure it’d be fun and everything,
But I’d rather just hear you laugh.

I’ve never been to the moon,
To float and fly above the land,
I’m sure it’d be great and everything,
But I’d rather just hold your hand.

It’s fun to see around the world,
But it’s not something I must acquire.
I’d rather have those nights we curled,
Out of the cold and near the fire.

See, your heart is where I’ve been
And I’ve seen what’s there for me.
It’s clichéd - but you know what I mean,
I’ll love you always, my dearest, Lily.

A/N I wrote this way back in February and I never really was satisfied with it, so I took some time edit it lately, and well... here it is.
