The world’s source of light is covered by the grey whips of water in the air,

But all of the light that seeps through lies as a blanket on her hair.

Her eyes glow their breathtaking brown as she laughs right next to me.

This is the only place that I would ever want to be.

Arguing makes it so much easier to stare…

Always watching… waiting to see if she really sees me here.

Does she realize my feeble attempts to get her to notice me?

She’s the smartest witch I know, though biased may I be.

A few people say they know she notices; some see that she cares.

They say I’m the only one who doesn’t realize that I’m her secret prayer.

Am I really that oblivious to what’s right in front of me?

Or is everyone wrong and Hermione doesn’t really

Think

The same way as

Me.
