Chapter Notes: Disclaimer: This does not belong to me. Well, the poem does, but J. K. Rowling created the characters.
Dearest Lily,

I watch the years speed by
You are in year number seven,
An angel, I'm surprised you don't fly
You belong in glorious heaven.

My jaw did drop
My knees did knock
My heartbeat kept stopping
My stomach kept hopping.

As I watched you smile
Raising your hand
When all of the while
Love you I can.

I love everything about you
Your perfect flaming hair
Down to your graceful shoes
And the clothes that you wear.

I love the things that most would not
Your disses
'Potter, you can go rot!'
Although I'd love you more with kisses.

I've dreamed of you most every night
While the stars come out
Wish I may, Wish I might
I cherish the newest Lily-clout.

Although you may not like me
Which makes me sort of blue
You, my Lily-flower
Make my dreams come true.

I find the things in you
That most others would look over
I think that you grew
Like a lucky four-leaf clover.

And please, my Lily-flower
Flower no more beautifully
For your radiance towers
Already over me.

I have watched you flower
Throughout the years
Even minute, every hour
And even throughout my rejected tears--

You will always be my Lily-flower.
