Chapter Notes: Disclaimer: No, I do not own Harry Potter; I do not even own the computer I am writing this on (My parents do). I am not a billionaire; I only have five dollars in my purse. I am not a brilliant author writing a popular series of books; I am a lowly fan fic author writing a simple poem. I do not speak with a cool British accent; I have that not so cool accent that everyone does in South Louisiana.
*Note to self: Don’t compare self to JKR; it is very depressing.

I sit here silently,
With nowhere else to be,
And watch a family’s life,
As they survive much strife,
There’s no way to aid them.

I watch twins cause mayhem.
Fun pranks they always pull,
They are such a handful.

The eldest son is Bill,
Writes letters with a quill,
From his home in Egypt,
(Always with a postscript).

I saw the next son move,
So that he could prove,
He could have a career,
Taming dragons without fear.

And the only daughter,
She has quite a temper.
As does the whole family,
Most of them are sassy.

I see the youngest son,
Friend of the Chosen One,
Get put in much danger,
Stopping an evil creature.

One son I see no more,
Until he settles the score,
Of some family fight,
He doesn’t ever write.

The father is in love,
With all things muggles have.
He works hard each day,
To keep lawbreakers at bay.

Their mother keeps them safe.
Inside a tight embrace,
She does love them dearly,
And reprimands them fiercely.

Though they lack much money,
Their smiles are sunny.
They are always happy,
As they live out each day.

This is what I see,
Everyday of the week,
As my hands spin around,
Tracking when they are about.

I always fear my hand,
Will turn to something bad.

But I just sit here silently,
With nowhere else to be,
And watch a family’s life,
As they survive much strife .

Author’s Notes:
This one was somewhat hard to write.
