Chapter Notes: I don't think this poem is anything special, since I just whipped it up in a few minutes, so don't expect too much from it. Personally, I like my other poems better, but I decided to go with a different format... so I wrote this. Enjoy, I guess!
Quicker than a flash of light
Did James and Lily fall.
Although they put up quite a fight
Their death they couldn’t stall.
The Dark Lord wanted just one thing,
Yet they stood in the way
To stop the lord from killing,
To keep their baby safe.
Although their deed was noble,
Lord Voldemort was not.
He raised his wand and screamed a spell
And killed without a thought.
Because of their great sacrifice,
Their babe could not be killed.
Evil couldn’t touch him twice,
For love could not be stilled.
To this day the Potters live
Within young Harry’s heart.
They give all things that they can give
And never will depart.
