Haunt my dreams no more
She haunts me in my dreams,
Makes me toss and turn in my sleep,
Whispers to me, haunts me,
Teases me, so I cry.
I need her.
Her eyes would tempt me,
To run into her arms,
But she’s always too far away,
For me to touch.
I dream of her again tonight, dream of long ago…
Her long, scarlet hair would dance behind her,
Curl loosely to frame her face,
As fire, as the blood red sunset,
Like it was woven from silk
And her scent is like a drug,
I would be dazed, be entranced,
By her sweet aroma.
I would almost cry when she touched me,
Nobody did with such care,
Like I would shatter,
If not handled right.
Her lips were those of an angel,
A simple kiss would mean the world,
I yearn to feel them again,
To be loved again.
Golden eyes,
Burned through my own like fire,
Could see my soul.
Like magic.
…I shan’t go on without her,
I need to go back,
For I was foolish once,
And I am foolish again,
To not be with her.
I need to see her again,
See her forever,
To be close enough to touch her,
To kiss every freckle,
To be intoxicated by her scent,
To feel her hands on mine,
To hold her once more,
In my arms,
To have her see inside of me,
To feel loved again,
So she’ll haunt my dreams no more.
A/N: Well, guys, here it is! I really do hope you liked this poem. I think that Ginny's Story (out of the blue) was better, as I am better at that kind of thing. But I wanted to stay as in character as I could because we all know its OOC for any of them to write poems. Anyway, I sort of pictured this as something Harry would write, but he wouldn't mean for it to be a poem. It just came that way, like he's just splashing his words of longing for her on the page. I know it was a stretch, but tell me what ya think by using that convenient reviews page!
