I will never forget the times we spent together.
Of the times when we were younger,
And had smiles upon our faces.
And when there was always laughter,
Ringing through my ears.
I remember of our years at Hogwarts.
Of its secrets begging to be searched.
Of the cool calm feel of the lake nearby,
And fuzzy warmth from the fires inside.
Of the tension between each other every year.
And the battles of inter-house Quidditch.
And the tight bond of friendship behind it all,
That kept us all together.
That friendship that started when you faced the Troll,
And continued to grow with the challenges of the Stone.
Spiders and snakes we faced the next year,
With the mystery of the Chamber unsolved.
Timeturners, werewolves, and Sirius Black,
Third year came together with that animagus rat.
The Triwizard tournament in our fourth year,
Three challenges we faced, friendships broken and renewed,
And that fateful day we lost him forever.
OWLs and the "toad" all muddled in one,
In 5th year, the DA we had become.
In the past weeks we've all had challenges,
And we will continue our journey without, Dumbledore.
And when each year comes to an end,
We will always look forward to the next.
Where another unforgetable adventure takes place,
And our deep friendship continues to blossom.
