Immense pain
racks her body
as she feels
her love
writhing on the floor
screaming
at its
inhuman hand's
gesture.
She lies
sobbing softly
unable to wake.
Her friend
gazed concernedly
as a swirl of color
and a flash of light
brings forth the man
who puts peace
in her ever-beating heart.
