She doesn’t believe
The things he says
Even though he swears they’re true.
They can’t leave without her
She won’t allow it.
And yet she knows they’ll find a way to.
It’s not her fault,
He says.
He doesn’t want to hurt her.
But you are,
Her heart cries out in pain
A river of tears voicing the thoughts of her heart.
All around her are people mourning.
They cry and sob
Unable to handle grief.
But she has the most grief of them all.
Today she lost a friend, a lover, a hero
On top of the great man they all gather to mourn.
Today she lost Harry.
