A World of Dreamery
Today, a long, fantastic story shall be told,
About a twilit world of dreamery,
Where two young ladies are on a journey to find,
The deepest, most desperate desires of their hearts…
...
She walked through this land,
This wasted, once beautiful land,
A land, that to many, was once a heaven,
But would now be known as a cursed land of hell.
Red hair fanning behind her with the wind as she ran,
Flowing like crimson waves,
Golden eyes determined to find Destiny,
For Destiny will show her the way.
And she ran more and more,
And faster and faster,
Searching for her life, her love,
May she see the glint of his glasses again,
Feel that aura of warmth he once had?…
And then she saw him,
Standing, barely standing,
Raven hair ruffling in the wind,
Emerald eyes lit up, so full of emotion,
Sending shivers down her spine…
She found him!
She knew she could,
Knew she would,
Because everyday before this dream,
Destiny would whisper in her ears in a light breeze...
Soon, Soon..
You will find him soon,
From right out of the Blue,
Like waking from a dream,
He will be there to see you…
...
And now, in another part of this very same,
World of Dreamery,
The other girl, a brown-haired one,
Ran ahead through darkness,
Wand held out,
Lumos-ing the way for her.
She knew not how she came to be here,
Nor where she was headed,
She was following a path of wonderful melody,
Echoing in the walls around her.
She’d trip a few times,
For she was no runner,
But got right back up again.
She was determined to finish her search, her journey,
For from this darkness she would find home again.
Then the sweet song stopped.
She had reached her destination,
Light came back,
And she found her home,
She found him…
‘Twas this imperfect, rather annoying lad,
Who always had to work so hard, actually,
Having... so much to live up to,
So much to be,
What a heart he had, what spirit he possessed!
Her home lay within his sky-blue eyes,
Her love as red as his locks…
…Love…
…Home…
...
Now let us retreat from this World of
Dreamery,
Let those children have their happily-ever-after,
For it is high time that dreams came true,
High time that Destiny awoke,
To lead everyone home,
And high time for this wonderful, magical story,
To Finally come to its End...
A/N: That's it, dudes and dudettes, for this Universe. I was taking a ride to the countryside today (A TWO HOUR DRIVE!!) and for some odd reason this mapped out in my head...go inspiration :-)
I know it's ridiculously long, 2 pages on my word processor and a big headache, but hey, I TOLD YOU IT WAS TWICE IN THE POEM!!!!
So, guys, say good-bye to this universe, maybe i'll write more for ya in the future?
