These are a couple limericks which are five line poems with a rhyme scheme of AABBA. There is also a strict meter that contains three metrical feet on the first, second, and fifth lines and two metrical feed on the third and fourth lines.
My first is a traditional limerick:
There once was a young lass named Ginny,
Her physical size, it was mini.
Six brothers had she,
All older Weasleys.
The virtues she possessed were many.
And here is my attempt at a totally original limerick:
Away in the night did he fly;
To a hidden house to ask why.
His enemy returned,
All his friends just confirmed,
The danger was as real as his cry.
