Chapter Notes: As always, J.K.R owns all and I just like to tinker.

The inspiration for this poem actually goes to Emerson Spartz. I went to the book signing in Woodmere, Ohio and got to hear from Ben and Emerson live about their theories. Emerson asked in a show of hands "Who thinks Draco will turn spy for the Order?". A lot of people raised their hands. His answer was "Wrong". He said Draco is on the run, too proud to ask for help and too afraid of the otherside. This got me thinking about how he must feel. So thanks to Emerson for the inspiration.

The one to finish him should have been me.

I would have done it eventually.

There was no misplaced sympathy in my heart.

I knew what had to be accomplished from the start.

It was always circumstances that got in the way.

Never once was the fault mine, is all I have to say.

This all means nothing, now my fate is sealed.

The game has started and the cards need only be revealed.

Will he come for me? Am I worthy of that?

Perhaps he will deem me a task for the rat.

My time is now borrowed, the end is near.

The anticipation is far more torturous then the fear.

There is no way to stop his wrath before it descends

What a way for such a noble house to end.
