Chapter Notes: Harry/ Ginny The 'God above' line was entirely inspired from Jeff Buckley.

I heard they say our love is true
That I was meant to be with you,
But have you never wondered how they would know?

Remember when the sky was pale?
But we were in our fairy tale,
We had no need for blue skies.

I saw those walls around your heart,
I should have seen them from the start,
Maybe I wasn’t all that you thought you saw.

Remember when there was you and I?
And now you just sit there and cry,
I guess we never really moved on.

I heard the sounds in the midnight glade,
I saw the moon crack on the lake,
And we sat there in perfect stillness with the wind.

Remember when we saw the light?
And you talked me through the whole dark night,
I never said a word to you.

I saw your eyes filled with fear,
I saw you wipe a shining tear
off your face, and I didn’t know what to do.

Remember when there was a god above?
All I’ve ever learned from love,
Is how it breaks you when you need it the most.

I thought I once heard you say,
That I would never see a day,
Where you wouldn’t love me for what I was.

Remember when you tore my wall?
You never quite saw me break and fall
But you had your revenge, bittersweet that it is.

There were ghosts, there were wings,
But you never even stopped to think,
That there had once been angels and ash.

Remember when there were sunny skies?
But you shattered all those lies,
Now we break and fall.
