Return to me.
-
Return to me
from
beyond the
veil,
across the sea
of darkness
that
divides us.
-
Return to me.
You
owe no
debt
to cruel nature.
Your time
had
not come.
-
Return to me.
Do
not yield
your
spirit or surrender
your being
or
your breath.
-
Reurn to me.
Your
life's journey
was
only just beginning
to follow
a
true path.
-
Return to me.
Do
not let
go
of my love.
I need
you
beside me.
-
Return to me.
Tell
those who
dwell
beyond the curtain
that you
cannot
stay there.
-
Return to me.
Life
is a
dance
and you are
not done
dancing,
Sirius Black.
-
Return to me,
before
my heart
breaks
and my memories
become shrouds
of
lost love.
-
Return to me.

A/N: I don't write many poems, but in chapter 29 of the story Moonlight and Shadow , Sirius falls behind the veil, devastating those he leaves behind, especially his lover, Cami, who clings to the hope that he will return, and who I could see repeating the phrase "return to me" like a plea, and a prayer. This poem also follows the Cami/Sirius one shots, A Dog's Life, Sirius in the Moonlight, A Moment Like This, Spring Fever, Off the Leash, and 10 Things I Love About You.
