Love Lost
Love lost to war, to death's cruel fate;
Life spent and gone, destroyed by hate.
A hero brave who fought for long,
He could not fight the veil’s last song.
The war was won, for him—too late.
His life was hard, a heavy weight;
Yet love was still his strongest trait.
With it, he could carry on.
Love Lost.
He fought for love, but could not wait,
So left behind his mortal state.
She tried to live, continue strong;
But it was hard, and felt so wrong,
For she had lost her true soul mate:
Love lost.
