He can't be, yet he is,
He wouldn't leave me!
He knows I will miss
His company, don't you see?
Sirius Black, feared by all.
Wrongly punished
After Voldemort's downfall.
When he should have been commended.
Stayed as a prisoner
For twelve years
Yet he stayed without a murmur
Reliving all his fears.
One day or night
None can tell
Sirius overcame his fright
And slipped out of the jail.
He came to me from miles
Away, with just one aim
Armed with smiles
He watched me in the rain.
Since then he has been
The closest thing
To a parent I have seen.
He was the missing link.
But he's gone once again,
In the veil,
He will always remain.
Woe that there was no rail!
I am alone once more,
With no one to support me.
