Goodbye by ravenclawhero
Chapter Notes: Written in memory of my beloved older sister Annabelle. She's in a better place now, and this is sort of my way of saying goodbye. I wrote another version of this poem first, that wasn't an HP fic. If you want to read it just e-mail me. Thank you, and enjoy.
I cannot breathe,
Can’t feel my throat.
I wait to cease,
I wait just to float.
I can feel Death.
He awaits my soul.
I feel my last breath,
I can feel myself go cold.
No!
I must not die!
People depend on me!
My soul will not fly…
My troops, I must lead.
Need to gasp for air,
Grasp a chance to survive.
Hope should be there,
I will not say goodbye.
I have to end this war.
Many lives count on me.
And yet…
I feel as if…
As if I were…
Drowning…
I’m dying…
Goodbye…
