This fic wasn't beta'd. I really wouldn't even consider it a fic... I just wanted to write something other than SKOM, and I REALLY love the song, so I randomly wrote this thing in a matter of hours. Also, it's not exactly a songfic... It's inspired by "Gotta Go My Own Way", but rather than just posting the lyrics, I changed them a little bit and made them into a dialogue between Lily and Snape. Hence, some of the things they say to each other don't flow that smoothly.
