Defeat of the Dark Lord by i_love_harry_potter
Chapter Notes: This is just for fun. No money being made or anything.
Oh, and the poem's not that great.
Owls are swooping overhead,
Fireworks in the sky.
No longer are they filled with dread,
No fear is in their eyes.
Oh, finally, they have been freed
Of their most awful fear.
No longer do they have to heed
Of some dark things that leer.
The task is o’vr, the deed is done.
The Dark Lord is no more.
Their lives can just be filled with fun:
A thought they wrongly bore.
While yes, it’s true, the young child
Survived the killing curse.
Lord Voldemort was just exiled,
Not killed or any worse.
Cause once again the Dark Lord came
To torture innocents.
Nobody dared to speak his name,
Although they did have hints.
Only one could beat this man,
The prophecy had said.
The one who had the many fans
And a scar upon his head.
The Boy-Who-Lived went to the school
Of witchcraft and wizardry.
He had to learn to play it cool
In face of misery.
With training from the best teachers,
Potter learned to fight.
He conquered all the dark creatures.
So then the world was right
