I actually wrote this poem for myself, and then changed all my “he”s to “she”s--along with a few other necessary tweaks--and submitted! (My story turned out like this in the end, too…with me getting never my crush to fall in love with me, but that’s okay.) So, here it is! R&R, if you could be so kind…
