When I gaze across, I see him.
When I listen intently, I hear him.
When I stand nearby, I smell him.
When I walk so close, I feel him.
What of my fifth sense,
It’s hidden from me,
Will my dream come true,
And bring pleasure in me?
He is so confusing to look at,
His darkness and evil is not complimented well,
By the angelic glow,
Like an angel from Hell.
But no matter how much I want him,
He’ll never understand,
Why I want to be the girl,
With his lips all around.
However, one day,
My head deep in a book,
The only thing that brings me out is that scowl,
I can’t resist that look.
But still, that kiss will never be mine,
Let’s face it, what does he see in me?
Of course there’s inner beauty,
Which I doubt he’ll ever see.
Though, surprisingly to me,
Late one night he arrived,
Then here he kissed me,
I felt so alive.
So now he’s mine,
And so is that sense,
I’ve got my guy, my kiss, my love,
Everything I’ve ever dreamed of.
