It’s winter outside
And Christmas is coming at last.
The snow is falling
And the grounds are covered fast.
No unfriendly spells are cast
And distant seems the gloomy past.
The Great Hall is decorated
And it feels just right.
The dinner is being served
And nowhere is there a fight.
Candles are burning with all might
And life seems so bright.
Good wishes all around –
To wake to a better day.
Where peace rules
And children can play,
And lovers can stay.
That’s what they all pray.
Oh, let them have this Christmas,
Let their hope run high.
Maybe horror will be gone forever,
The day Voldemort will die.
Then, maybe, fear away will fly
And their happiness will touch the sky.
