It’s Dark.
Had the darkness ever been this bad?
It’s Cold.
The cold travelled through his skin, because he had no skin.
It’s Empty.
Where could it be this empty, where could he be?
It’s Frightening.
He was never scared, was he? He could not remember…
It’s Bottomless.
He was falling, how could he not have realised before?
It’s Nothing.
He lifted his hand, but he had no hand, he had nothing.
It’s Wholesome.
He felt different, not so torn…
It’s Shrinking.
Was it approaching? Flying forwards, yet never moving.
It’s Different.
How did he get here? What had happened?
It’s Still.
He could not move, could not travel, just could think…
It’s Black.
He could see, but had no eyes, had no appearance.
It’s Full.
A million others could be here, by his side, but he could never reach.
It’s Strange.
He has no memory, just knowledge, knowledge of a memory…
It’s Dark.
It’s Death.
How could he die?
Author’s Notes: So what did you think? In case you haven’t guessed, it’s Tom Riddle, but his memory is not fully functional. He can’t remember dying, or even living, but he knows something is wrong.
