The world
has stopped its turning

Around me they stand,
and I with them,
in shocked
terror,
not wanting,
not willing
to believe...

our eyes meet
with faces pale as

sky.
He can't be gone.
Slowly,
the icy chill overtakes,
and the cold
slowly
pierces
into the center
of my heart.
I loved him so...
"NO!"
A scream
stabs the night-

confirming
my worst
nightmare...
