Somewhere over the rainbow,
There is always someone watching over me.
Somewhere over the blue sky,
Over the rainbow.
Someone sees me fall-
Falling into pieces.
Breaking and crying-
Begging that someone
Is watching out for me.
Hidden under his heart,
His red hair glistens
In the gleaming sunlight.
Watching over me.
Protecting me
When I fall to pieces.
He brings me up,
And brushes away my tears.
He says, “Don’t cry.
I’m here for you.”
His soft, gentle,
And loving voice
Surrounds me.
Telling me that
He will protect me,
Always and forever.
“I will love you,
Until eternity ends.”
I whisper in his ear.
As I lay dying,
In his arms.
I look at him.
He smiles and says,
“Death never conquers love;
Love conquers death.”
My life is slowly
Leaving all of those
I love behind.
I will conquer
Death.
Love will keep
Us together.
Forever.
“Somewhere over
The rainbow.
Somewhere,
Over death.” I tell him,
“I’ll be waiting for you."
I close my eyes, and
Take a breath in. I hear
Ron whisper,
“Hermione, I love you.”
I open my eyes and look
At him.
“I love you, too Ron Weasley.”
And I close my eyes once more.
For I am going
Somewhere over
The rainbow.
Somewhere conquering
Death for love.
