Chapter Notes: A sonnet about remembering the Hogwart's Battle.
The grass grows now where the battle has been,
The rubble is gone. Repaired long ago.
The forest is still. The leaves now are green.
No shouting, no screams, no horror to know.

Yet, listen in closely and you may hear,
The whispering voices telling you tales,
Of those who fought and died in yesteryear.
All had seemed lost, yet goodness prevailed.

Witches and wizards and creatures alike,
Stood up for freedom and peace all above.
The dark lord used power and hate to strike,
Yet, he was no match for courage and love.

Here's to the heroes of wizarding war,
Watch and remember and never ignore.

Curses were flying, like lighting in black,
Many had fallen, their lives washed away.
The brave continued to strongly attack,
The battle raged on till night turned to day.

Orange spilled outwards across the dawn sky.
Two last curses flew, as onlookers saw,
The dark lord’s own curse caused him to die.
His followers fled, his rule was no more.

The war is now over, the fight was won,
So many were killed to vanquish the dark.
Names not forgotten, nor deeds they have done.
Our kind will remember, they left their mark.

Here's to the heroes of wizarding war,
Watch and remember and never ignore.
