‘Twas ended and the mage so vile
Did laugh and cheer within the trees.
All giddy with his evil smile,
He’d bring them to their knees.
“Beware Lord Voldemort,” all say.
“The great wizard, with eyes of snakes!
Beware his Killing Curse, and fear
His bloodlust nothing slakes.”
He took the Elder Wand in hand:
Long time he’d waited for this night-
So gloated he o’er young Harry,
Who seemed had lost the fight.
He’s finally dead, the villain thought.
But Harry’s death was just a show.
And before Hogwarts appeared again
To challenge the great foe.
“Avada Kedavra!” and “Expelliarmus!”
Their wands sent forth a mighty blast!
Tom Riddle’s done, and Potter’s won,
The world is safe at last!
“Has Potter slain Lord Voldemort?”
“O wondrous day! Hoorah! Hooray!”
“Potter’s won! Let’s have some fun!”
Old Peeves let out in roar.
‘Twas ended and the heroes, whilst
They laugh and cheer within the school,
Were giddy with unending smiles,
For no more Dark Lord’s rule.
