A journey not taken
ashamed, betrayed, confused
An iron gate, cold, invisible steps
doubt, everlasting, faith
Cold as stone, and yet, not forgotten,
guiltless, humbled, idolatrous
Etched words – stone – cold to the touch
just, kaleidoscope, loyal
A mask hidden behind weathered hands
misguided, neglected, ostracized
Blinded with eyes, parallel sight, blinded with life
perish, ‘quivocation, reunion,
A swish, a flick, yellow roses, lit candlewick
sanctuary tabernacle, universal
A prayer, a reflection, a compromise
vendetta, weariness, ‘xcavation
Yearning ...
I solemnly swear, an Unbroken Vow, I solemnly swear ...
A dagger, a broken,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
Fire brushes the wind
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
Mist blossoms hope, redemption
Hallelujah
