Story Notes: I was recently thinking about Hedwig's body's fate. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Here's a little aside for those of you who didn't know: Saint Hedwig is the patron saint of orphans. She is my confirmation name.
Also, only the male gender of the snowy owl species are completely white. Dear Jo admits to her mistake in making Hedwig a girl- but, frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
