My head is filled with thoughts of you.
One day I will run out of room,
And then I will forget.
So many mem’ries o’er the years,
Containing so much love and fear.
They’re parts of me and you.
But now they slip and fade away,
Because you won’t be back today.
I’m not sure you’ll return.
Without them, I might lose myself.
I don’t want to lose this wealth,
Of our remembrances.
I never want to lose myself
Except when I’m with you.
A self is hardly necess’ry
When you are one of two.
