These eyes, so blind and unseeing,
Cannot seem to open to the world around them.
There is frustration;
Fists smacking pillows
And
Angry letters answered with sickeningly kind replies.
Take this from me!
Remove the film from thine eyes and
Let them see the glorious wonder of your world!
Show me wherein my faults lie
And cast them from me into the unknown.
Show me the sight of dancing sparks
And glorious transformation with the will of
A soft, whispered word
That floats through the air and pierces that barrier
Between what is known and unknown.
Take this from me.
This hatred, this despair;
This feeling of nothing as she slides away from me,
Into what should have been my future.
Make me see, so that I may join her.
Take this blindness from my eyes,
And
Make.
Me.
See.
