Starry satin fills the eyes.
The queen, she lays way
For the thief in the night.
He, a face full of laughter,
Does rise, his heart aflutter
With soaring wings.
The gaunt and gruesome
Trails lining his smile
Lighten, freedom
Levitating him from
Past regrets and pains.
Innocence sings from
The snowy owls, sighs
In the gentle, warming breeze,
The future but the golden rays
Now triumphing over the horizon.
This is peace, bathing in the
Hopes and glories of the
Escaping night, and in the
Approaching dawn.
